Adam Schmitz
Adam Schmitz is an owner and licensed Architect for Terra Nova Builds / Terra Nova Revives. Having earned a Bachelor of Architecture Degree at Drury University, he spent several years working in the architectural industry before joining forces with Terra Nova in 2011. Since then he has utilized his design expertise to mold Terra Nova into a design-build firm. He has a passion for historic architecture and loves to reimagine older homes by creating unique spaces for clients throughout the St. Louis area.
Outside of work, most of Adam's time is spent with his wife and co-owner, Ashley Schmitz, being proud parents of two amazing children, Jaden and Elsie. As a family they enjoy exploring St. Louis and finding fun community events, especially in their hometown of Kirkwood. On occasion Adam can still be found playing ice hockey or hitting up the golf course.
Giving back to the community is as important to Adam as having a successful career. He's a long-time advocate of the "Go-Giver" movement (check out the book!) and he finds purpose in his life by helping and serving others. He is an active member of the Kirkwood-Des Peres Chamber and regular volunteer at Redemption STL Church in Kirkwood, Mo. He pours much love and many hours into coaching youth hockey at KYHA and youth baseball at CYC. With Terra Nova, he is proud to support charities like “Camp-Circle Star” and the “Jason Motte Foundation,” pushing the company to continue growing in generosity year-over-year as a fundamental value.
