OPEN: LEAD CARPENTER
JOB DETAILS: Seeking an experienced Residential Carpenter to support the Terra Nova production team by performing skilled job related tasks on assigned construction projects. To provide high-level communication, on-site leadership, and serve customers with care, respect, and humility.
JOB TYPE: Hourly, Full-Time
PAY: $26/hour - $32/hour, Varies based upon skills and experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily operations on job sites to ensure safety, professionalism, and quality control
- Perform demolition of existing spaces and install temporary shoring systems
- Perform carpentry tasks including framing, door and trim install, flooring install, cabinet install, and hardware install
- Perform job site prep including setup of floor protection, barrier wall, and negative air systems
- Perform job site cleanup and maintenance
- Train and supervise laborers and apprentices to maintain high-quality workmanship
- Support Project Managers as needed on daily operations
- Inspect job sites regularly for safety
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5-years minimum experience working in Residential Carpentry and Construction
- Proven hands-on skills to perform required tasks
- Great personal skills
- Attention to detail and quality control
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to supervise and train 1-2 people
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures, systems, and materials
- Tools: Terra Nova to supply basic tools
- OSHA-30, preferred (training can be provided by Terra Nova)
- EPA Lead Certification, preferred (training can be provided by Terra Nova)
- Eager to continually learn and grow
